In August 2023, 17 women from 17 different countries shouldered their backpacks and travelled to Nairobi, Kenya in preparation of the 2nd Kili4Kids charity expedition, climbing the second highest mountain of Africa, Mt. Kenya. With the addition of the Kili4Kids ambassador support team, a group of 25 with local guides and porters were ready for the 5-day challenge. Altitude was the biggest obstacle here – but the team reached Lenana Peak at 4.985 meters. What a feeling!

The goal:

raising US$ 100.000 for building a new construction of a boarding school wing at the Mwereni school for albino and visual impaired children in Moshi, Tanzania was exceeded by US$ 20.000. What a great result , done by the members and ambassadors of the Kili4Kids team. Lions and donors from all over the world – thank you! The building of the new construction is in progress.
